SERVE
living out God's word
We believe every act of service comes from "a living, daring confidence in God’s grace." When we serve, we honor God.
Picking up trash in town on "God's Work, Our Hands" Sunday, collecting food for those in need, knitting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry, and fulfilling kids' Christmas wishes - just some of the ways we work to share God's love with everyone.
May we all be bold and confident enough to answer God's call to do the work that will make our community and our world a better place.
THE PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY meets once a month for fellowship and inspiration.
We knit or crochet shawls, lap blankets, baby blankets, chemo caps, and scarves to give to others as warm and comforting reminders of God’s love and our prayers.
The items we make are blessed during worship and distributed by the
Caring Ministry to those in need of our love and support.
Our group welcomes anyone interested in the loving, creative work we do in God's name.
Don’t know how to knit or crochet? No problem – we will teach you.
