What's happening at Calvary?

Sermon Series: "Core Values that Reform:  Faithfulness, Respect, Diversity, Generosity, Change, Interdependence."
Sundays, October 1 through November 12

Our Celebration of the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation will focus on "Core Values that Reform."  This special sermon series will give us a chance to look back at scripture and Luther’s theology while reflecting on issues that can change our lives, our churches and our families today.
Rick Steves' Luther and the Reformation
Thursday,  October 19

Sunday, October 22
As part of our Reformation 500 Celebration, you are invited to view this hour long documentary by well-known tour guide and Lutheran Rick Steves.
Filmed on location in Europe, Steves tells the story of a humble monk who lived a dramatic life. Rick visits key sites relating to the Reformation (including Erfurt, Wittenberg, and Rome) and explores the complicated political world of 16th-century Europe. It’s a story of power, rebellion, and faith that you’ll never forget.
Women's Bible Study
Friday, October 20
Church Narthex
All ages are welcome to this time of study and discussion.
Crop Walk
Sunday, October 22
Cranford Methodist United Church
This walk to end hunger begins at Cranford United Methodist Church at 1:45p.m.  It ends 3 miles later at the Fall Street Fair in downtown Cranford.
How you can get involved-? Come walk with us, and collect sponsor money. Sponsor envelopes are available in the Narthex.  Each walker is also asked to bring a non-perishable food item for Cranford Family Care.
Or you can sponsor a walker, or make a donation.
Along with fighting hunger globally, 25 % of collected money is shared with Cranford Family Care and the Osceola Food Pantry on Clark.
This isn't all that's going on.

Our Vision

Young or old, we are all on a faith journey.  Come with us as we grow in our relationship with Christ. Wherever you are on your faith journey or in your relationship with God, you are welcome here.

Sharing in each others lives outside of worship makes Calvary a family.  We gather to support each other as we strive to live out our Christian values everyday.

Calvary has a strong history rooted in serving our community and the world.  By serving others, we thank God for the many gifts God has given us. We invite you to discover with us how you can bring Christ's Kingdom to your corner
of this world.
We serve Christ in and through the church and we welcome your hands and hearts in this place.
