ASH WEDNESDAY
February 18
with worship at
1:30pm and 7:30pm.
Join us as we mark the beginning of Lent, a season of reflection and repentance as we ready ourselves for Christ's ultimate sacrifice and his jubilant, miraculous resurrection.
Ash Wednesday is a call to re-commit our lives to Christ. And a reminder that no matter what we've done right or what we've done wrong, God loves us.

DAILY PRAYERS FOR LENT
I want Jesus to
talk with me . . .
This Lenten Season you are invited to pray with us from wherever you are. It is as easy as pausing everyday at 6am and 9pm, opening the below booklet and praying.
(A copy of this booklet is also available in the narthex.)
Even as we are in separate places, we pray together.
MONTHLY FOOD COLLECTION
This month we are collecting:
PASTA AND SAUCE
BATH SOAP
As part of a new partnership with Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rahway, we will be collecting food on a monthly basis to help supply their
"Wednesday Food Distribution" mission.
With the help of the Rahway Community Action Organization (RCAO), Zion distributes food to 30-45 local families in need every week.
We will collect donations monthly - each month there will be a featured food item and featured household item. These are guidelines, but any donations are welcome at any time.
Donations will be collected throughout the month in the narthex.

LENTEN MIDWEEK PRAYER SERVICES
Conversations with Jesus:
Services of Word and Healing
Wednesdays in Lent
(2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25)
at 1:30pm and 7:30pm
Come join the conversation between Jesus and those he encounters in each of our Sunday's gospel readings. How does each character inform a contemporary life of discipleship? How might Jesus respond now to our own questions, confusions, and need for healing?
MAKE A PLEDGE TO SUPPORT CALVARY AND ITS MISSION
As God's children we are called to be generous with our time, our talents, and our resources... using those very things to share God's love with and tell God's story to those inside and outside the church walls.
Please consider how you can help Calvary uphold this responsibility entrusted to us by God.
Then fill out this STEWARDSHIP PLEDGE FORM BY CLICKING HERE
so church council knows how you plan to support Calvary and its mission.
Thank you.
