What's happening at Calvary?

During the Advent season, as we await the birth of Christ, Pastor will preach a series of sermons entitled " The Power of the Scared Story". It's a look at all the ways our stories intersect with each other, the community and the world at large and how we can use those interactions to cultivate generosity in the name of God.
In the midst of this joyous yet hectic season, may we live, love and lead generously.
On Sunday, December 10 the Prayer Shawl Ministry will offer a variety of knitted and crocheted items for sale in the narthex.  All proceeds will benefit ELCA Disaster Relief.  There will be no price tags with strictly a free will donation.  The handcrafted items include mini pocket prayer shawls, cotton dishcloths, wristers, headbands, scarves and other assorted small items.  Come and see the fruits of the talented ladies and support disaster relief.
Help make some yummy treats for our Christmas Caroling event on December 17th.  We need bakers to help create our special treat this year. Meet in the church kitchen, spend some time with friends and get in the Christmas Spirit!   The more the merrier!
New Jersey Cares Coat Drive
Ends Sunday, December 10
We are collecting gently worn winter coats for distribution to men, women, children and infants in need.  NJ Cares has been collecting coats for the past 21 years!  Just last year they gave out more than 30,000 coats.  Put your donation in the collection boxes in the Narthex and help someone stay warm this winter!

This isn't all that's going on.

Our Vision

Young or old, we are all on a faith journey.  Come with us as we grow in our relationship with Christ. Wherever you are on your faith journey or in your relationship with God, you are welcome here.

Sharing in each others lives outside of worship makes Calvary a family.  We gather to support each other as we strive to live out our Christian values everyday.

Calvary has a strong history rooted in serving our community and the world.  By serving others, we thank God for the many gifts God has given us. We invite you to discover with us how you can bring Christ's Kingdom to your corner
of this world.
We serve Christ in and through the church and we welcome your hands and hearts in this place.
